Way late

I know, it has been about 2 weeks since the last post, and I said I'd try and do about two a week.
Guess I was wrong, and there are no excuses, I just have not done it. I have worked alot at my regular job, cut my online time down, and slept alot, so there you have it!
Today I worked on trying to wrap up my sales copy, and dinner with my folks. It was a good time, since over the last year, other than vacations, I have alienated most folks, because of my work online. At the moment I am trying to get my focus back. Seems it got lost over two wasteless relationships, but that is another story that ( maybe) I'll post later.
I've yet to get the E-book written, and I need to finish writing bonuses for the sales copy.
I need a miracle to have it done by the end of the month, so I am pushing! And although I have my tax papers pulled out, I need to get them reorganized for the accountant, before I drop them off next month. Here is where I need another miracle, I need a big return, to offset the 16 grand in expenditures spent for the business, we'll see what happens. At least being single, with no children, that's the only expense other than my mortgage. Still sucks being in the hole!!!!!!

THE NEW YEAR IS IN

So, Happy New Year to all. It was rather uneventfull for me, I was in bed by 10:00 pm last night, and in bed most of the day trying to get over these colds/Flu that have daunted me for the last several months. December ended up being a Slow/No progress month for me, for the
side business that I am trying to get off the ground. In November we went through a restructuring/downsizing, and Dec. 1st our service dept. decided to reorganize, and change their floor plans. So that has been where my focus and tasks have been, work and sleep. Even though Dec. was so hectic, and took most of my time, I'm happy to say that I should have that project wrapped up tomorrow, and things should be back to normal. Least wise, giving me my free time back to focus the sales copy, and Ebook. The bummer is I wanted all that done by Jan 1st, so it's time to get back on the fast track, and kick ass. So, stay in tune, I'll post about 3 times a week...

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

I know it's a long over due late post! I've had opportunities with my PC, and since at the moment it seems to be running, and let me on, I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a safe and prosperous new year.
I will be going into the new year busier than ever, and may only post a few times a week.
Then again, it depends on this damn PC, and the opportunities it gives me. With all of the componets I have added, I should have bitten the bullet and bought a new one. This Sucks - Going back and Forth 4 logins

I switched to the new format weeks ago, and still need to go back and forth for logins, it sucks! but that is why they call it Beta format! still being worked out!
I spent hours yesterday, going through Front page Tutorial, this will be an ongoing learning process. This morning, I was up at 6, and online, learning! By 9, I was at the post office, the bank, and to the Chiropractor for an app. By 10:00, I had the hot tub tore apart, the capacitor pulled out, and was on the way to pick up a new one...... Non productive day!!! So Far!! Had the hot up repaired and running again by 2, and back online studying, what a day of vacation!
Yet I always move forward... It's early, now I am going to move forward to bed, I have to work tomorrow, and my plate is still overflowing...... till the next one, be here, there, or anywhere, I am always in the same spot, just moving forward! 1 centimeter at a time...... night

I KNOW, I KNOW

It has been a while! I can walk and chew gum at the same time, but my plate has been full.
That is no excuse for not posting, but I am overwhelmed at learning, tutorials, regular job, and daily task. Like working a full time job, and going to college full time, it's like where do I best delegate what little free time I have! So I apoligize up front, that learning has taken a greater response of my time, than doing a post! Guess I should have spent more time learning more at a younger age! Let that be a lesson to you younger folks. You can still teach an old dog new tricks, were just, or I am just slower at learning. That being said, it has been a long day at the tutorials, and I am hitting the sack. I will try and do a post, at least twice a week, and let you know where I am at! And at the moment I'm swamped, without seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.....

What a Day

The first thing this morning, I checked my hot tub and noticed it was down to 75 degrees.
What a way to screw up my day, and my schedule, this is something I cannot leave unattended.
The blower motor works, but not the pump for the jets, which has a safety, so if it is not working, it won't heat the the tub. After calling the outfit I bought the tub from 5 years ago, he said a new pump motor would run $415.00, but suggested I try to manually turn the shaft to get it started. Damn if that did not get the pump motor running, so I sprayed some lubricant on the shaft hoping my problem was done. In the mean time, I ran to staples to pick up a new DVD drive for my computer, which was shot, then went and picked up chemicals for the hot tub, so far it is a $130.00 day. I got back home, and the tub seemed to be fine for the time, so I dug into a few tutotials on the Adobe software I had loaded. I never got around to doing hte other video tutorials on climbing, and at the momnent, it seems the pump motor went to hell again.
Now I get to baby sit a tub, so it wont freeze, and Monday look at replacing a capacitor, or motor. Money keeps going out, not enough in, and I still have Christmas to deal with. Time to hit the Bank, for another Loan.

Fridays Blahs Aren't gone

Most of my software came in today, and most are loaded. Priemere 3.0 would not load from photo shop, because my internal DVD drive is shot. So, tomorrow, aside from getting other video's done, if it pans out, seems I need to pick up another drive unit. Damn, this spending, and making no money is nuts! All in the form of business, and moving forward! Guess my next move is setting up a donation form. LOL, just kidding! I'll keep plugging away, better than those that procrastinate, or spend their free time & money in the bars.

But I don't! Thing is, I need it for the business, and it's a write off for the year.
The Front page software arrived today, I'm waiting for the tutorial for that, that I ordered this weekend. Today I ordered Adobe photoshop 5.0 - premeire 3.0 this will be the software I need to edit the how to videos, then I ordered a 300 GB external drive for storage, seems the last video I took was 2 GB, for 20 minutes, and I have several more to get done. I've yet to order
Cover Pro, which is 3D software , for Ebook covers, and other things. So my plate is always full, And I hope to pull a few videos off this weekend while the weather 40 degrees. This will depend on if I can pull a few other climbers in to help, if not, I have plenty of studying & tutorials to do, not to mention, additions to the sales copy.

December Is Turning Out Busy

Although I am not working overtime at work, I am still busy there! Better busy than gone from restructering. Top that off with learning curves I am going, on software, process's, turotials, I feel like an old man, just starting college, with no retention, and always being overwhelmed.
Still doing HTML tutorials, Ordered Front Page Software, A 8 hour front page tutorial, picking up Adobe photoshop 5.0 W/premiere 3.0, 300GB external hard drive. Am I busy? Naw, lost and confused. Wait a minute, thats a Led Zeplin song. Anyway, I need to get back at it, as this old dog needs to learn all these new tricks...

SORRY FOLKS

Last Thursdy when I got home, my phone and DSL were down, left me stranded! So I got on the cell phone and called Qwest customer support, they had a tech here Friday morning. She said it was a direct short inside the house, they would come in and fix it, but at a hourly rate, that I was not willing to pay. So I had Structered cabling back in this morning, took 3 hours, and hopefully the problem is resolved. Great to be back online, and have more than just a cell phone.
Other than that, I am still trying to get this sales copy wrapped up be the weeks end, so I can get started on other tutorials, and creating this E-book. I'll be back...

MONDAY THE BIG 50

A great day to burn a vacation day, when you turn 50. Unfortunately, I did not do anything exciting. I started off doing online tutorials for HTML, then I started cleaning the windows, since it was 60 degrees out. Guess I should have been out doing another how to video, on climbing. As it goes, there is just never enough time. After I got half of the windows cleaned, I proceeded to get the front & back yard raked, before the snow hits, and got the shed rearranged a bit. All that topped with five loads of laundry, and getting the cat litter boxes cleaned. Not to bad for eight hours of work, now I can get a few more hours in on these tutorials, before the night is over. For those of you who didn't know, Chris ( www.redhogdiary.com ) and I have been struggling with quitting smoking, today, turning 50, I just quit. I know it is all mind over matter, but wish me luck.

Sundays Success

Although I did not get to bed till 1 am this morning, I was up by 7. I called Rick at 8, to stir his ass up, he was to be the video photograper, of this top rope/anchor system setup today.
We got out to Palisades Kepler state park before 11:00, and were done just before 2. It was a success, the temp was about 60 degrees, no rain, it brought back old memories. Had I had another rappel/belay device with me, I might have topped the day off with some climbing.
Sad to say that never happened, and now the temps are ready to start dropping. Thats ashame, I have 6 more how to videos to get done yet, I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a few good weekends yet. It could happen! Tomorrow is a vacation day from work, but I will be swamped with tutorials, so there is no break.

GOOD TO SEE OLD FRIENDS

An old Climbing friend stopped in for a visit today, although it was short, it is always good to see old friends. John was back from Washington State. It would have been great to climb with him today, and get a video of it, but time did not permit it. Instead we went over old times of camping, and climbing, and I was able to pick out 28 of the many photos that the had brought back, from when he and I climbed in 94 & 95. It was good to scan those, and put them on a DVD. Those five hours went by quickly, and we were still able to catch lunch at the Metro Buffet. Thanks John, for picking up the tab, Rick or I should have picked it up. I had to leave for an invitation to a pre wedding meet in Iowa City, my nephew is getting married in September of next year, that was a good time to meet everyone. Now I am back at trying to get caught up,
HTML tutorials, Frontpage tutorials, a climbing video tomorrow, the task's go on...
Keep your fingers crossed, I need help on tomorrows task.

BLACK FRIDAY

It's the day after Thanksgiving, and everyones shopping, trying to find the best deals on this black friday. I trust everyone had a good feast, and took the time to be with their familys yesterday. I had a great Thanksgiving meal with the family, and they celebrated my 50th, a few days early. It was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Then it was back home, fighting on the computer, seems I cannot get things done right, shrinking photos into thumbnails, and getting them listed on my sales copy. That is where much of my day has been spent today, and I have not had any success. Along with that, I have printed 21 chapters of online tutorial for HTML, so much to do, so little time. I guess I'll jump into the hot tub and relax, then get back after it....

Twas the night before Thanksgiving

Tuesday And I Am Beat

Damn do I feel behind, and beat. Yesterday I had my coaching call at 3:00pm my time, which lasted an hour and a half. It was a rescheduled call, because I could be home for the call on the 15th, because of Black Wednesday at work. That was fine, that I had it rescheduled, but I mut have had Dyslexia, because I had my time screwed up. It was 1 pm paciffic time that my coach would call, and I had it written down for 11:00 am my time. When he never called at 11, I left him a voice mail, I did not hear from him at 11:45 am, so I left him an email. If my head was not up my ass, I would have known that he was 2 hours behind me, not the other way around. I felt foolish, when i was finally on the phone with him at 3:00 pm my time, and then had to apologize for my deslexia. All and all, it was a great call, just overwheming for me. So much to do, and remember. But there is a new domain name, for the new web site, for the Ebook.
www.rockclimbing4all.com not published yet, the site or the Ebook. So as the story goes, I was in bed before 10:00 pm, and just could not get to sleep. 12:30 am, and I am still awake, only a few hours before I need to be into work, let alone a meeting I must be at by 7:30 am.
Not wanting to oversleep, I just get up and start doing some research until 3:00 am, and then jump into the hottub for an hour. By 4 I was in the shower, out, had breakfast, fed the cat, garbage out, and into work by 5 am. Okay24 hours later, no sleep, I just need to get my 8+ hours in, and I can get home and get some rest. I wish it was that easy, I was able to lay down at 5 pm for an hour, and I am back at it. One more work day to go, then 4 days off to get caught up. Ya right? gotta go! DSL Modem/ Phone Problems

Sorry for the late post! It is either Qwest, my DSL modem, & phone that have been having problems, or something else. I know it is not the wiring, that was all new earlier this year, with all cat 5, so I could get DSL. I would assume it is my block outside, but qwest says as long as I have a dial tone out there, it is not there problem. Structured cabling did all of the wiring, and I have had them out here 3 times since they did the job. It is an intermittent problem that comes and goes. It sucks when you have phone and computer problems.
Other than that, I had a great coaching call today. Enough to overwhelm me, so my plate is still full. I can finally say things are getting done the right way, and I am learning from the right group. www.marketingtips.com I just have so much to get done in the next few week.

BLACK WEDNESDAY

What a tense day! As with most of corporate america, saving their bottom line, today was a day of restructuring. Restructuring took 30 of our folks, from our plant. Many I have know for over 24 years. Globally, 220 individuals lost their jobs. Join me as I pray for all of them, and their familys, during this hard time, and moving through the holidays.

Sorry For The Delayed Post

Busy on my end, and just never took the time to write.
The sales copy was revamped by my coach last Wednesday, and he did a great job!
All the more reason to learn from a mentor, who has been down the road, and is successful.
I still have some things to add to it, and then get the e-book written, but I am moving forward.
I met with an old climbing friend last Friday evening, and explained what I was doing, were to meet again this Friday to go over more detail. Saturday I raked all day, and mowed twice, 20 bags of leaf's and grass, not to mentioned my large yardie being full. Sunday was a day of rest, my body hurt like hell. I did at least get grocery shopping, laundry, and dishes done.
Monday was a day of vacation, and I spent my time digging through hundreds of photos, from the time I first startred climbing, until my last photos that I took. What a task, and then to go through the best of the best, which got me down to about 160 photos. Now I needed to get them scanned, and put on a cd, so I could pul a few from those, and add them, not only to the sales copy, but the new web site as well. Thats where I'm at on this Monday evening, the next coaching call that I was to have this Wednesday evening, has been moved out to next Monday the 20th, I'm pushing to have the sales copy about completed by then... FRUSTRATING WEEK

And what a week it was! Monday was the EKG with more chest x-rays, they never found anything. They did however schedule me with the cardiologist for Tuesday.
So Tuesday, was just one test on the treadmill, with another EKG. Nothing materialized there for the chest pains either. Friday morning was a Chest Cat Scan, late Friday afternoon I found out that the scan was good, what showed up was a lymph node on the differant x-rays.
So, all these test that came out good, and they have no idea what the chest pains are from.
I started Zantac Friday, to see if that might help, thinking the pains might be from acid reflux, the zantac has not helped much either. So, now I wait, and keep monitoring the pain, and see what happens. I did have a chance to get through the first draft of my sales copy, at least it is a start, and the whole weekend has not been wasted.

CHEST CAT SCAN

I hd a call on my voice mail when I got home, from the family physician, my results were in, and to give them a call. whenI called to find out the results, she said it was normal, and just a Lymph node that was the differance in the x-rays.... does not explain the chest pains, but could be over GERD, or acid reflux moving into the chest, at any rate, it is something I'll keep my eye on, their test are not always right. Then again, it could be that, and stress.....

MEDICAL 1 DAY AT A TIME

Sorry for the late post, I was to tired yesterday. I got home shortly after 3:00, hit the sack, and slept till 10:30, got up for some water, and hit the sack again. The treadmill test at the Cardiologist did not come up with anything, and going through it, my chest did not hurt.
But the treadmill test about killed me! Tells me I am way out of shape! My chest did not start bothering me until after I got out of hospital. Then tonight, my family physcian's office called, they want to do a cat scan on my chest. It appears there are things that showed up Monday, on the x-rays, that did not show up, when I had my complet physical. Life is a gamble, if your healthy or not. I spoke with a person the other day who is only 35, never drank, and does not smoke. He had been in for several of the same test, and they never found anything, until they did an angioplasty, only to find out he had a widow maker, lucky they caught it at that time!
For me, I'll keep kicking till the good lord says he wants me home. In the mean time, with out sounding morbid, I guess now is a good time to get a will, living will, and baptism, completed.
Family physcian's office just called back, I go in for the Cat Scan Friday morning, they should have the results back by monday. Won't this be interesting?

MONDAY - MEDICAL STEP BY STEP

I went into the Doctor this morning as a walk in, for an EKG for these chest pains. I was told this would be a quick process. It might have been, had it not been for the wait in the lobby, the time it took for the nurse to actually get me hooked up, the x-rays, the review with the Dr. and then getting an appointment set up with a Cardiologist for a treadmill test.
The EKG did not really show anything, but because the Doctor cannot pinpoint the problem of pain in the upper left side of my Chest, it's going one step further, for another test tomorrow.

SO MUCH TO DO

Wow, Sunday morning already, time goes by quick. Seems I didn't get anything done Saturday except some electrical work at my sisters, then some reading and studying. Today will be much of the same, as far as reading & research go, as I move forward on this sales copy.
Monday, I'll go for a walk in, for an EKG, seems I forgot to ask for that, when I was in for a complete physical earlier this month. The chest pains I've been having, are similar to what another guy at work had, when he had a stroke. Typical male syndrome, put things off till the last minute. If they don't find anything wrong tomorrow, then I have two more exams to go through at the end of November. A upper GI, and a Colonoscopy, something everyone at my age should be going through. I pray that those test come out clean, If they do, then I know the pains are from old age, lack of exercise, and being 20 pounds overweight.

T.G.I.F. AND ALMOST GONE

What a day, both at work, and once I got home. With a full schedule ahead me after leaving work, I had no time to waste. I got home and gathered the tools and supplies I needed to do the electrical work at my older sister's new house, and then proceded to top off and treat the hot tub, get some of the leaves picked up in the back yard, and I was out the door. What I thought was going to be a quick job, turned out to be a few hours, and I never got finished with it. I still needed to help move a sofa and coffee table, and I am thankful I had Rick give me hand on the workload. Tomorrow I'll go back and finish the electrical, and with what is left, it should take no more than two hours. That will leave the rest of the weekend to work on my slaes copy, and try to get caught up. Tonight, I'm kicking back in the hot tub for an hour, and relaxing.

CLOSER TO FRIDAY

I did not have the energy to get a post done last night, after a great 2 hour coaching call, and about 45 minutes in the hot tub, I decided to hit the sack. Today I was just physically drained, and tired, for no apparent reason. So after working on our LOTO program with the safety consultant, I came home and slept for 2 hours.

Tomorrow night, I'll get some work done at my sisters new house, and that will free up the rest of my weekend, to try and get this sales copy written, and some competitive analysis done.

Tuesday - Not Done

well, I have not started my analysis, for competitive research yet. I have been on the phone to family members, for other situations. Your faith in God, should come first, then your family, your job, and everything else after that. Follow your faith, and everything else will fall in place.
I am behind, but I have faith, I am going in the right direction, with what I touch.

MONDAY BLAHS

It's late Monday, and I have yet to get started on the Analysis Research. Which I believe is imperative, before getting started on writing a sales copy or ( USP ) Unique Selling Proposition, for the E-book, and web page I am working on.
I was forty five minutes into a two hour meeting this afternoon, when I left before 3 pm.
My stomache and chest were bothering me so much, I thought it best to just get home and rest.
My mistake was when I went in for my physical earlier this month, I never asked for an EKG.
So there is another one to add to the list. I go back in later this week, for more blood work, to see if that has lowered the elevated results from the first test. If the elavations were not lowered, it's on to another speacialist. Damn, and I won't be 50 for another month yet.
It's funny, I always said life begins at 50, more so, if you have your health! And here I am, going through all of these health issues, slowing me down. With any luck, I can get started on some of the competitive analysis tomorrow after work. Even so, it will be only a dent, in a 50 to 60 hour process.

ONE STEP AT A TIME

Well, the ( content/features/benifits ) part has been written up, for the E-book I'm working on, sent to the coach for review. I still need to work on the competitive analysis. As they say, to know your competitors, is to know your market. Had I not been ill, for so many weeks, this would have been done. Now it is a matter of having done by Tuesday night, and sent to the coach. On Wednesday, if everything is in place, we start on writing a sales copy, for what I am creating.

GETTING BACK ON TRACK

Well, the coaching call I had Wednesday night was both positive, and uplifting, and I am pushing forward to get back on track. Over the next 8 weeks, I'll be creating an E-book on rock climbing. So this evening, I am trying to wrap up the content/context/chapters, with the benifits and features of what will be in the book. On our converstation Wednesday, the coach thought this should only take an hour or two. It seems to be more in depth than that, or I am just making more work out of it. But it seems wise to me, to take it from the beginning of when I started to learn how to climb, to the point where I ended up on the Nose of El Cap, in Yosemitie.
So it will go from learning how to climb, to advanced climbing, to the joys and perils.
I am fortunate to have many, that I have climbed with over the years, to refresh my memory, and grasp photos that I do not have. So this will be another intersting challenge, and I am looking forward to it. I only desire that it comes out perfect, and is profitable.
Now I need to get back to work.

Hence, get your ass moving, before you get struck. In other words change your routine, or course of action. You may wonder why I am writing about this! Well, after being sick, under the weather, and still behind schedule, I am in a RUT. It sucks! And it is hard to get out of a Rut, coming out of the Flu, and bad health. Although it is easier, than those I know who like to gamble, and drink. Most people drink, because they think it is relaxing and fun, most people gamble, for the lure of hitting it big, both are wrong concepts, and a desease. It effects some worse than others, and most will not admit it. I know some people coming back from vegas, I am sure the drinking was a good time for all of them, as they would say it was. But what a waste of time, and a waste of money. I think one person lost 6k, now there is a RUT, not to mention what the rest of them lost. Hearing this, I know my hole is not as deep a rut, to dig out of as theirs. Does it make me feel better? Well, I'm glad I was not there drinking or loosing money with them, but I also wish I was not six weeks behind. A Rut is a Rut, dig out of it! Needless to say, I rarely gamble, and have no desires for bars. I leave that up to my good friends, who think they are having a good time, while they are loosing money, and listen to their RUTs, afterwords.

Coaching Call

Well, I was supposed to have a coaching call at 5:00 pm my time, but here it is 6:15 pm and my coach never called. It was supposed to be over product development. Granted I was supposed to have assignments in, kind of hard to do when your sick. But when a call is scheduled, one party or the other should call, or leave an email! For All I know, the coach may be sick as well.
I just have concerns over being behind, and the dollars spent. I guess that will be our next conversation, or my email sent. I really hate to loose out on the education that they have to offer. I'm hitting the sack! Until the next post.

Here it is Tuesday, One turn gets another

Well, it has been over a week since I went off of the Nexium. I have to say the headaches are gone, eye strain has not been bad, but I have not yet filled the new prescription for glasses.
Sinusis are so, so, and I still have a cough, with a lump in my throat.
My stomach, has went way south, and energy level has been down hill. So after work I have spent most of my time in bed. Saturday and Sunday were the best days, as I got caught up on a few things, just not my assignments. Now it seems I have heel spur on my left heel, that with a bad right knee, you can understand walking, is not only painful, but sucks.
So, this is just a quick informative post, I'm headin back to bed...

MOVING FORWARD

Well, after being sick for many weeks, and just eating, working, doing laundry, and sleeping, today I started moving froward. I got the leaves raked, yard mowed, 7 loads of laundry, hot tub emptied, cleaned, moved closer to the back door for winter, refilled, and I am waiting to jump into that it, to finish my night. This frees my time up tomorrow, to do the competition research that I have been behind on, and then do grocery shoping tomorrow, before the new week starts.
This should aslo give me time all week to keep up the research, and next weekend, I'll start on the windows, cleaning inside and out, before they are closed up for the winter.
A maid, or the right female roomate, would work out nicely here. But then, I do not want to give up my solitude, and freedom. Until the next post....

CLIMBING OUT OF HELL

Damn, five weeks of bad health with the Flu and everything else, is like climbing out of hell.
But my mind is getting back in shape, not that I had one, and my health is getting better.
From the Chiropracter: he made a few adjustments, could not explain the headaches!
From the Annual Physical: everything was good, but the blood pressure was very high, and the prostate levels were high. So he put me on antibiotics for 2 weeks, at the end of the month, I go back to see what the levels are. If they are still high, I go in to a Urologist. He could not explain the headaches, but offered accupuncture for a cure. Chest X-rays showed scaring, thay are being sent to a radioligist, for exam. This does not suprise me, as I have been told I have had emphazyma for years.
From the Eye Exam: He changed my bi-focal prescription, but said it had no bearing on the headaches. Asked if I had any other appoinments set up? Ie: Neurologist! I said not yet!
Then after laying in bed all weekend: I hear this infomercial on Nexium - side affects- headaches- I have been on this for over three months, the time that the headaces were getting worse. Last Monday, I quit taking Nexium. My stomache still bothers me, But I only took four tylenol that day. I have not taken a Tylenol since, nor have I had the headaches. And I was up to about 20 Tylenol a day.
Now it is time to get back to the research that I was doing, before I got in rut, with the headaches and the Flu. Expect regular Post!!!!!! Glad to be back, sorry for the delay...!

Todays Chiropractor Dr. visit did not suprise me, my sinus's went to hell, along with everything else this morning, and when he said you sinus'a are bad, I smirked, already new that. My repsonse was, I have a family doctor visit tomorrow, and an eye exam Wednesday. He just said that was good. I'm at the point pushing 50, I need all of these exams. I'm hitting the sac. as I have responded to my coach for www.imctips.com he has not gotten back with me on being ill. I was supposed to have a call tomorrow evening, and they are not cheap, your to have your assignemnts done, hence, I am no better than a few weeks ago, from being ill. you can understand my lack of post, and concerns. Hitting the sac..... another Dr. Appt. tomorow morning...

What Is Normal

I spent most of my day in bed, as I do after work. Seems laying down takes care of the headaches, and eye strain for the moments. I did make it to wallmart today, to pick up a
new office phone, with a celular atthacment, for the bedroom. And things seem to be working
well for the moment, for what I have tried. I am still behind schedule on assignements, but hope to catch up on those tomorrow, and get those emailed to the coach....

I hate being in this position, normally I am a go getter, over achiever. But this being under the weather with health, medical problems, suck! I am so far behind, on personal projects, it is costing me an arm and a leg. At work, at least we got some of the enviromental/health/safety documents done, while my boss was back. I have many doctor Appt.s newxt week, Chiropractor Monday, family physican Tuesday, Eye exam Wednesday, I just want a resolution to these headaches, and stomache problems, along with the light headedness- dizziness.
I'm not a physcian, so we'll see what there opinion is.
I'm going back to bed, I'll keep you posted!

The Cat Has Gone

Damn, he knows better than that. I had him declawed eailier this year. Normally, I'll sit outside with him for a while, and then come in on the computer, while he sleeps in the chair.
As I did tonight! But when I went back out, he was no where to be seen. Back yard, sides, or front. Last time he was in the neioghbors yard, crawled under their fence. I hollered up one side, and down the other at him. Who knows, he may show up yet! It's disheartening, because I had a little female, who passed away in January, with Feline Lukemia, she was only 5, and it broke my heart! She followed me everywhere, like she was my child. She was the joy of home, my life. Maybe at some point, I'll post a photo of both. In the meantime, I'll do one more search, and hit the sack. Still behind schedule, and the work load is getting bigger at work, as it is in my asignments. All I can do is sigh, and keep moving forward. Until tomorrow.

BUSY - SLOW TO POST

The previous post was for those friends who have been through a divorce, or just getting out of a
bad relationship, and it came from the author, noted on the post. It's hell going through relationships that are either physically or emotionally abusive, No One needs to go through that. And it is very hard to recover. Thank God I am single, and don't have to deal with those types of scenarios. But from time to time, I get to hear friends going through it.
My time has been busy, and will continue this way, for the next few months, as I do research,

I guess because I have good Christian viewpoints, Satan has my computer, and blogs are not permissable. I am always growing on my viewpoints, and had the opportunity to be in a conversation that caught me off guard today, and my computer is screwing up, allowing me to post it. It was in conversation at work, that started on different subject, and turned spiritual, or religious, and caught me off guard, by this person, very open, to the point conversation. I knew immediately, his faith and belief, were sincere, as we talked about life and addictions. Now if my computer would settle down, I'd finish this post! guess I'll have to try again tomorrow, bad on my end, I have 100 hours of research to do....... I think I have a virus on this thing, with a mind of its own... on another time, we'll get back to an addictions conversation, which covers a wide variety of topics, and hurts millions of individuals, their lifes, emotions, and health.

friendly. So he took me off guard, when he started talking what I would say spiritual, or ministural. It was great! I love this guy, he loves the lord, as I love the lord. I am in a ministery, that loves the lord, and everyone has their own opionion. so it gives me another viewpoint. You see, their are, christains, in my viewpoint, who know what is right, but do not follow the path. I have been there. There are christians, who are only christians on Sundays.
That'a not what Jesus asked for for. Don't believe in me one day a week, follow me, believe in the truth, accept me as your savior, and I will set you free, we are all brothers and sisters.
If we could all live by this, and get along, think how great life could be! becuase we are alll brothers and sisters, in the life of Christ...... And we all need to Grow......

Migranes Worse than just A Headache

Migraines, much worse than your typical headache. I have had a few Migranes over the last few years, and I can say that they actually bring things to a halt. Yesterday I had a minor headache coming on in the mid afternoon, not a big deal, pop a few Tylenol. That happens to be the only thing I can take, because the Doctor has me taking Previcid, for stomach problems. The headache would not disappear. The dictionary describes a migrain as ( an intense, periodic headache, usually limited to one side of the head ) I could say that Intense, at times, would be an understatement. By 4:45 am, my usual time to get out of bed, my headache had turned into a full blown migrain, starting from the base of the skull, going up, and over to the eyes. My first thought was this sucks, I had plenty to get done today. So I took a few Tylenol, and went back to bed two hours. No luck, the migrain was still there. So I called work, and let them know I would not be in right away, thinking this would be gone by noon, it wasn't. So my day was wasted in bed, resting with my eyes closed, and periodically getting an ice pack, for the back of my head.
By 8:00 pm, it was mostly gone, and here I am writing this without my prescription glasses.
Glasses that they say I am to wear, unless I'm sleeping. Who knows, that could of been what intensified the headache into a migrain, as I spend alot of time doing research on the computer.
I'm back to bed, catch ya at the next post.

A Busy Day

Hey, the morning started out great! I slept in. :) But then it was time to get back to work on
Word Tracker, before my CMA meeting. For those of you who don't know, CMA stands for
Christain Motorcycle Association, and they can be reached at www.cmausa.org
I had the opportunity to be introduced to them, by my boss, after my motorcycle accident.
Unfortunatly, I have missed the last 3 meetings, because of my East coast trip, a seminar in Chicago, and the West coast trip. So it was great to be back among Christain friends, and riders.
We meet once a month at Bishops for a brunch, and then our meeting. They have their annual meeting in Arkanasa, the last part of October, called the changing of the colors. I have had the opportunity to go to their last two changing of the colors, and it is a spiritual uplifting, to say the least. A great bunch of folks, christains, who don't drink, live for the lord, minister to others, and change one heart at a time.
After the meeting, I promised a friend I would stop by to look at his deck, and visit for a moment. So here we are, I'm not completely done with my assignment, which should have been done last night, and e-mailed to my coach, and the clock is ticking, with laundry going, and this post being written, where does time go. I better get back after it, enjoy your evening, and don't forget to watch the sky tonight for two Moons.

I do! I just don't have a social life at the moment, by my choice!
I gave that up at the beginning of the year, when I started working

wet, and blindly, without research or testing, my website was created.

It is all a learning curve, and nothing happens over night. It is very time consuming, and
their are a few who just do not understand why I do not have any free time. There is alot I need
to learn, and to master, but what an exciting process! I am with a Premier Marketing Firm, which I consider the worlds best, and I am in their Mentorship Program!
The tools are there, the coach is there, there is no failure, only a learning process.
I am totally excited about this destination, and direction, and hence, have no problem giving up a social life. That was what the two Motorcycle trips were for! The East coast, the West coast, two province's of Canada, and now it's time to stay focused on my regular job, and my learning curve, of business growth. I have a few more post, from the west coast trip, but my riding season is about over. With the exception of a few fall trips.
So stay tuned in, as my post will switch from trips, to my life, as I excel in the Internet marketing world, and how my learning curve and growth are growing. Until later

This was taken last year, at Paradise lodge, which is at the base of Mt. Rainier.
Thats the Cascade Range behind me, I'm looking towards Mt. Rainier, not seen in this photo.
I ended up doing this trip solo, going out and back. Once out there, I was able to see our corporate headquarters, and do a three day motorcycle trip, with a good friend, who happens to be my boss as well. I think I logged 5,400 miles in those 14 days.

It's base is bolted to the center leather, flip up lid,
of the three bag leather pouch, that is bolted to the inside of the windshield..

The bike is a 2005 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic

The GPS is removalable, although the base stays attached to the leather. This has worked out very well for Rick, and the unit stayed attached, when he layed the bike down on the East Coast trip.

The Global Positioning System, usually called GPS, is the only fully-functional satellite navigation system. A constellation of more than two dozen GPS satellites broadcasts precise timing signals by radio to GPS receivers, allowing them to accurately determine their location (longitude, latitude, and altitude) in any weather, day or night, anywhere on Earth.
GPS has become a vital global utility, indispensable for modern navigation on land, sea, and air around the world, as well as an important tool for map-making and land surveying. GPS also provides an extremely precise time reference, required for telecommunications and some scientific research, including the study of earthquakes.

The United States Department of Defense developed the system, officially named NAVSTAR GPS (Navigation Signal Timing and Ranging GPS), and launched the first experimental satellite 1978. The satellite constellation is managed by the 50th Space Wing at Schriever Air Force Base. Although the cost of maintaining the system is approximately US$400 million per year, including the replacement of ageing satellites, GPS is available for free use in civilian applications as a public good.
In late 2005, the first in a series of next-generation GPS satellites was added to the constellation, offering several new capabilities, including a second civilian GPS signal called L2C for enhanced accuracy and reliability. In the coming years, additional next-generation satellites will increase coverage of L2C and add a third and fourth civilian signal to the system, as well as advanced military capabilities.
The Wide-Area Augmentation System (WAAS), available since August 2000, increases the accuracy of GPS signals to within 2 meters (6 ft) [1] for compatible receivers. Northern Ridge of Yellostone

Coming out of Glazier National park we headed south along the Rockies. It was interesting to see
the small townships that we rode through. Each township, it seemed had their own war going on
against Meth labs, or people with Meth addictions. Almost every town had many signs up. Meth not in our town - We don't allow Meth here - Meth free town - Meth Hotel, which appeared to be their county jail, and so on. It seems we could use more towns/cities to take a stand like that, on addictions, but that will be another blog later on.
We crossed the northern ridge of Yellowstone, making our way to Bear Tooth Pass. This is ranked up there in the top 10 or 15 greatest rides in the country. I have been fortunate enough to get 5 or 6 of those under my belt, in the last few years.

Late Again :(

Damn, I remember the days when I was an over achiever, flying by the seat of my pants, and getting more things done, than anyone could imagine. Well, with a roasting party that I attended on the 10th, which was like a family reunion, I never got home till about 10. I never thought I would be there that long, but it was like old times, other than I was sipping my glass of water, seeing friends that I had not seen in years. So that put me behind on my marketing assignment! Friday the 11th, I had the fluids changed in my truck. When I pullled up to Walmart, I thought this would be quick, two hours later I was out the door. When I got home, it was phone call after pone call. There is a fine line, between being polite, being sociable, and saying, Hey I'm working on an a assignment, I gotta go! I finally hit that mark tonight, being behind schedule, And I really hate to be rude, but I hate to be behind as well.
Saturday was just another day of being behind, although, after Guru called me at noon ,

I guess I answered that kind of rudely, with Hello, loudly, hell I was still wet, and just thought I needed to answer the phone. It was another friend that understood, and said she'd call back.
Were trying to set up a time that I can haul some furniture for her.
The next call was from a friend who knew that I was thinking about doing a NE IA ride on Sunday, and was setting me up with a blind date. I was actually going to spend my Sunday, doing my assignment. I had never met Terri before, nor had she met me, but I have the love for riding, and if she wanted to take the chance meeting, and riding with a complete stranger, what the hell. She needed a break from her life, and this was just the way to do it! She did not know, at the time however, that she would be the first passenger on my bike, since I totaled it.
Sunday morning, I picked her up at her folks at 8:45, and headed to Handi mart to meet the other 3 bikers, everyone was introduced to each other, and we were on the road by shortly after 9:00. Terri turned out to be a great riding partner, she leaned the right way in the curves, liked to chat, although I'm not much of a conversationalist when I am focusing on the road.
From here, I'll send you over to Chris's, AKA Gurus site, www.redhogdiary.com for a more descriptive detail of the trip. The only thing I forgot to bring on this one, was my digital camera,
to share the memories that we on the trip retain, and RAIN GEAR.....
All in All, what another great day to ride, even if we got wet. Great views, and great people!

Make no mistake, you slip here, it's a long tumble down. Going from the East to the West, you still get this view, but from the West to the East, there are parts where it is just a drop off. I have know idea what the statistics are for fifth wheelers going over the edge. But it would seem that survival rate would be slim and none.

The road to the sun, refers to the drive from Kalispell, Montana, through the park to St. Mary.
You cross over the Continental divide, and get some spectacular views. On some days, when it is cloudy below, you drive through those, until the sun peeks out

When we left Puyallup, we headed east getting on 410. We wanted to get a good view of Rainier, without going into the park. And the views were
spectacular. From there we caught 12 East, into Yakima. Seems we should have caught they road going out of Naches, heading north to I90, but its the road trip that counts. We stayed on 12 until we got into Richland, and eventually got on 395 north to I90 and through Spokane, what a day it has been already! We kept heading East until we could catch, I believe it was 2 North, and called it a night at a Super 8, one of the few places left with any rooms.

We left Bellingham, WA. Sunday morning, with a stop into Camano Island to see a good friend, also my boss, and then on our way to Puyallup, Wa. to see a friend we had not seen in years. John Meyers, on the left,
is another individual I started rock climbing with
back in the 90's. It was good to see an old friend,
and catch up on the times.
He is talking about doing a guided trip, to the top of Rainier next year, sounds exciting! I just need a new knee, better vision, better lungs, and the time and the money to do it. Hell, anything is possible, if you set your mind to it.....

I think as we move through this area, the
Suan Juan Islands are to our right. This was another 1 1/2 hr. trip

If there had been a few more days, it would have been great to spend a day at each one the islands.

A view back. If memory serves me right, the ferry was built in the 50's, and traveled at
17 knots. From Port Angeles, to Victoria on Vancouver Island, was about 22 miles and took
about 1 1/2 hours.

From there we'll do a very short trip up to
Sidney, and catch the next boat over to
tsawassen, Canada, and head back down
through Washington. This was day 8 of our

Day late, Dollar Short

Saturday the 4th was the latest I have slept in, for along time. I have so much on my plate, that I do not get to do it to often. I worked late Friday night trying to get the counter fixed on this blog. I'm lost when it comes to HTML, and some of these other tricks of the process. It's all a learning curve, I guess if I can learn it, anyone can. Needless to say, my efforts Friday evening were fruitless, so I hit the sack frustrated, and got up at 10:00 am the next morning.
Not wanting to be behind schedule, because it was going to be a busy day, I called Gizmo, to let him know I was going to change fluids in my bike, and he should get over here to do his as well.
In the past, I have done it for him, while he observed, this time, I observed, and let him do all the work.
Most shops are getting about $200.00 for labor, filter and the 3 fluids, I can change mine in less than an hour, with cost for material of about $40.00, and it gives me the opportunity to see if there is anything else wrong with the bike. Gizmo got here about 12:00, and we had his done shortly after 1:00. Mine was on the lift, and about done when Guru stopped by about 2:00. He had just gotten his out of the shop, with the exhaust and linkage repaired, he was a happy camper. I happened to notice on mine, that the lower engine mounts were loose, and got those tightened back up. I am not a mechanic, nor a wrench, when it comes to technical things on my bike. But it is comforting to be able to do the simple things, and save money. I am happy as well, to know that some of those I ride with, wrench their own bikes completely, and are just a phone call away for help.
The afternoon moved on, and it was now time to head over to Guru's, for a New York Stip-grilled steak, salad, fruit salad, and a discussion of our last 2 week trip. Chris did a great job of preparing everything, and the meal was excellent.
Fortunately, Chris is an IT Data base manager, and we worked on the counter for this blog, before we ate. Damn if that was not quick, and it worked! While Chris was doing the grilling, I was doing a testing process, and the damn counter disappeared again. I am a patient individual,
but this is frustrating, and pissing me off. So I went through the process we had went through, using another link, and I'll be damned this one is still up and working, we'll see for how long.
The food was done, and it was time to eat, what a filling meal. After we finished, and had discussions of our last trip trip, it was time to go out and see friends that we have not seen in along time. Mike & Linda, who were haveing an outdoor grill party, for Watermellon days, in Atkins, Iowa. It was good to see everyone again, and seem's Mike had his own great food/grilling fest going on. To bad I was full from the previous meal.
The fire works started about 9:00 pm, and were over shortly after 10:00, it was a site to see, for such a small town puting then off. It wassn't long after the fireworks, and we were saying our thanks and goodbyes, for the invitaion, and the wonderful opportunity to see everyone again.

lost time, Can't be made up

Here it is Friday, already. I am still so far behind schedule, I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I did have the opportunity to do some research on some laptops, get laundry started, pay some bills, make some phone calls, a chance to get some kind of of post out.
I'll start out by talking about riding solo - small group - large group.
My choice is to ride solo, or with a good female behind my my back, to enjoy the sites.
On this last trip out west, it was great to ride in a small group ( 3 ) friends. However, it should be discussed before the trip how each individual rides, what the destinations are, and what each expects of the trip. Everone rides differantly, and with in their own pace, and comfort zone.
For myself, this whole trip was for the ride up the west coast, to see the differant country side, parts of Canada, and move back east. A white water trip was mentioned, it would have been good, but it never happened, as well as the many sites that others had told us to see, but we just did not have it added to the time table. Starting further south, on the California coast, in Montera, would have been great, but may have added another 3days to the trip, which we did not have.
Back to small group riding, Guru rides very strong, and very hard. If you don't ride fast, and like moving through the corners fast, he would not like you tailing him, nor would you like to try and keep up. ( You'd be lost in his tracks ). Myself, I play cat and mouse with Guru, until he flattens my ass, going through the curves in the mountains. Gizmo likes to hang back, and is slower in the curves. I do not have a problem with him hanging back in curves, after he layed his bike down on the way to the east coast. But the rule of thumb, or courtesy is, keep a tight nich on freeways. When we came out of Tahoe, I was in the lead, and never saw Gizmo. We pulled over off the freeway, for 20 minutes, and tried to call him on his cell, with no answer.
One of the reasons you need to stay together, is out of courtesy. We had no idea if he was in an
accident, or just lagging. As a solo rider, the only thing I have to worry about is gas, and myself.
In a group, you need to be concerned about everyone with you. So before you leave, make sure everyone understands what everyone's goals, skill sets, and expectations are. Although we had a few misunderstandings, and communications, it will still remain on the top 10 list of the trips that have done, since 1. I bought the bike, 2. totaled the bike. I gotta wrap up laundry and hit the sack. Tomorrow will be more laundry, fluid changes on the bike, and a better post.

Sorry for the backslide, but I thought I'd add a few things from highway 50 accross Nevada.
Somewhere past Ely, we pulled over to get gas, and ran across another mid aged travel enthusiast. I use the term loosly, because I'll be 50 in November, and he was older than I.
He had a Garmin street pilot attached to the handle bars of his goldwing. If memory serves me right, it was a color 2730 touch screen, with
xm radio. Maybe it is time for me to upgrade.
He had been out on the road for 6 weeks. Starting out in Sacramento, and going to the southern east coast, he was on his way home. He was closer to getting there, than us getting mid way through our trip. He had asked if he could join us into Sacramento, because the Highway was so lonely, from where we at, to where we were going. We said that was not a problem, he was welcome to tag along. He asked how fast we rode, we said 80 to 85 + mph. We never seen him in our Mirrors. I'm sure he made it home safe, he had a few hours to go, we had better than 11 days left.
